No End to What We Face
In our schools and also in the home,
In government and in the working world,
No stop – no stop to what we face!
In the church, as well as in the mosque,
Though one seems better than the other,
No stop – no stop to what we face!
In time of peace and also during war,
Since the dawn of what is called mankind,
No stop – no stop to what we face!
But even there, only Gabriels and Michaels;
Nothing ‘bout Cynthia, Catherine or Elizabeth.
No stop – no stop to what we face!
A Star
Yes! You are a star,
But not the start;
Not the only star;
Not the largest star;
Not the smallest star;
Not the brightest star;
And not the dimmest star.
The Same
Although in your youth you were as bright as the treading sun,
Giving beam to umbra environment; in times,
The period will shun and you will
Expire in your wax for it is
That which gives you life
